Gi Review - Nano 2.0
Kingz Kimonos revamps it’s widely popular Nano kimono and has released the Nano 2.0, with the same durability as the original, the Kimono comes in 4 colour ways. With a 400 GSM Pearl Weave jacket, made from a single piece of fabric, with synthetic heat resistant vulcanized rubber lapel, and pants that are made from a comfortable 8 oz drill cotton material, the kimono seems to be of the same if not better quality as the original. Of course, as always, the Nano 2.0 is an IBJJF legal kimono.
Despite being a light gi, the Nano is extremely durable the cotton pants are especially tough, made more so with double reinforced padding on the knees.
Being a light kimono, the cut is extremely fitted, so no material is wasted. The pants can be a bit short for the taller grappler so always go for the L option. But apart from that it is a well fitted kimono.
Being extremely light, you almost feel like you are wearing no kimono, the Nano has certainly improved over its predecessors, and with the cut being extremely well fitted the kimono makes you feel like you are wearing armour!
Like many of the newer Kingz kimonos, the Nano is very minimalistic in its styling, the Kingz Nanō is adorned with high-quality embroidered Kingz logos instead of woven patches, on the shoulders and back, and a custom “Nanō” 2.0 logo on the collarbone and shin of the pants.
